Gland Packing Product Categories

Our gland packing products have a high degree of resilience and consistency of volume. Their superior lattice, square inter-braided construction needs less gland pressure to seal, resulting in reduced equipment wear, less gland maintenance and increased gland packing life.

The selection of gland packing material depends on the type of fluid or gas being sealed, the temperature and pressure conditions, and the speed of the moving parts. For example, PTFE is often used in applications where there are high temperatures, aggressive chemicals or abrasive materials, while graphite is a good choice for high temperature and high pressure applications.

Our comprehensive range cover all applications, in standard sizes from 1/8” to 1/0” cross-section and 8m lengths (some smaller cross-sections are stocked in 30m lengths). These are listed in both imperial and metric sizes and stocks are available for next-day delivery, covered by our stock guarantee.
