Vulcan Seals Call-Off Orders / Blanket Purchase Orders Policy

This policy applies to Call-Off Orders or Blanket Purchase Orders placed with your local Vulcan Seals entity. It outlines the procedures for the two types of Call-Off Orders:

  1. Call-Off with Supply Schedule
  2. Call-Off without Supply Schedule

General Guidelines

Vulcan Seals strongly prefers Call-Off Orders with a complete supply schedule to optimize supply chain management, deliver competitive pricing, and maintain stock availability in line with customer demands. This approach also helps avoid the need for pricing reviews.

  • Minimum Call-Off Order Value: £1000 / €1250 / $1250.
  • Minimum Batch Line Value: £200 / €250 / $250.
  • Order Schedule: The Call-Off Order schedule should specify the quantity and delivery date for each batch, with a final dispatch date no later than 12 months from the date of the order.
  • Amendments to Schedule: Requests to amend Call-Off Order schedules may be possible, but delays will only be accepted if the product has not been produced or is in production.

1. Policy for Call-Off Orders with Supply Schedule

  • Orders must include a detailed supply schedule, specifying quantities and required dispatch dates.
  • Minimum order and batch values as stated above apply.
  • Requests to delay shipments will only be accepted if the product is not already in production.

2. Policy for Call-Off Orders without Supply Schedule

  • Minimum order and batch values as stated above apply.
  • Orders without a supply schedule will be processed as 12 monthly deliveries, with the final dispatch date no later than 12 months from the date of the order.
  • As with orders with a supply schedule, requests to delay shipments will only be accepted if the product is not in production.
